Automotive Technical
Training Programs
Developed with the working technician in mind, each program has been chosen to fill a
specific need in the repair industry. There are over 50, 4-8-12 hour courses, which
include the fundamentals through to the most advanced levels of system diagnosis and
repair. A technician reference guide, full of helpful repair information, accompanies
every program. CAAT Members receive a 20% discount.
Career Development Tool (CDT)
To assist trainers in getting the right students in the right class the CDT directs
technicians to the right course by simply answering a series of questions. This is not a
test, there is no pass or fail and can be provided by a facilitator or taken at a time
convenient to the technician. The scores are sent to the technician and the

Advertise your classes Here! The site will inform technicians and shops owners of
training that is available in their area. All you have to do is fill out the CAAT Web Form
and fax to CAAT Headquarters. If you have a website you can add it to the CAAT Trainers
links page.
Quality Assurance Program
In an effort to build credibility and national recognition for CAAT members, CAAT seals
or certificates are provided when members training comply with the CAAT Standards. CAAT
seals are no charge and the CAAT certificates are $1 ea.
State Support
CAAT can help you with your state's I/M program. Our expertise in training programs can
assist your school or business to be part of an effective state technician training
strategy.

Reference Information
A phone call to CAAT headquarters can net you a wide array of information about
suppliers of auto parts and equipment. CAAT maintains contact and membership with many
national and international organizations; AAIA, ATMC, ASE, C-CAR, ETI, MAP, NACAT, NATEF,
SAE, STS. These relationships provide exchanges of meaningful information for CAAT
members.
MotorWare Training
MotorWare is a shop management software program that was created for Microsoft Windows.
It includes estimates, work orders, reports, productivity, appointment scheduling, job
costing and supplier information. Become a representative through CAAT and sell the
program to shops. Earn a great commission!
