Students learn specific system operating characteristics of
multiport and sequential fuel injection systems.
- Examine individual components for each system: how they function,
their purpose, and how to diagnose them; including air control (IAC) and mass airflow
sensors (MAF).
- Demonstrate how to check fuel system pressures, and diagnosis fuel
pressure regulator and pump failures.
- Perform fuel injector balance tests.
- Adjust minimum air rate and throttle position sensors.
